Woman with wings!

Forbidden wings she possessed,
Alarming the wannabe superiors.
Laughing her fears out,
Launching herself like a missile, but
Enormous wings that once spread wide open -
Now, are caged like wild bird that she was within.

Another puppet, she was, in the show,
None stood against, but applauded instead.
Glowing in the dark, she danced,
Even though her self was falling apart;
Like death happened to her soul, not her body.
